DiffCodon Occupancy module

Select samples to perform DiffCodon Occupancy analysis:

  • 1. DiffCodon Occupancy is a commonly used metric in genomics and transcriptomics research, reflecting the differences in the frequency of usage of different codons during transcription;
  • 2. E/P/A typically represent different categories of codon usage bias:
  • E (Essential): Represents the codon usage bias that is closely related to the essential amino acids for the basic physiological functions of an organism, playing a critical role in the structure and function of proteins.
    P (Proteinogenic): Represents the codon usage bias that is associated with the common amino acids for protein synthesis, playing an important role in protein synthesis in an organism.
    A (Additional): Represents the codon usage bias that is related to other amino acids, usually minor or rare ones synthesized by an organism.
